It's just a walking simulator in which you explore a bunch of underground swimming pools. True, their size and layout defy explanation - what is this, a swimming pool for Slender Men? - but look, there are cute covered slides you can ride down in first-person. You know, like the ones you used to enjoy as a kid. Always that element of anxiety though about getting stuck halfway down, am I right?

Dicefolk, a highly rated creature collector roguelike, is coming soon to the Nintendo Switch, where it's looking to find a new audience after quickly racking up great reviews on Steam. Games that market themselves as new approaches to the Pokemon formula are starting to sprout up more and more as they seemingly try to replicate the success of Palworld from earlier this year.

Ubisoft has confirmed their next Ubisoft Forward digital showcase will take place on 10th June during Summer Game Fest 2024.

Ubisoft Forward is returning on June 10, live from Los Angeles, the publisher announced today on Twitter. This is Ubisoft's premiere event to show updates, upcoming releases of announced games, and brand-new unannounced projects. Once, it was part of the various Electronic Entertainment Expo conferences. However, with E3 now effectively dead, it has become part of its soft replacement: Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest, which starts on June 7 this year. There's no word yet on which games will be shown at Ubisoft Forward, but we can certainly speculate based on the publisher's known lineup.

Koji Kondo joined Nintendo in 1984 and ended up composing basically every memorable theme from the Mario or Zelda series. The legendary composer had a particularly wild idea for a stage effect in last year's Super Mario Bros Wonder, and while that idea was rejected, it did end up giving Kondo the opportunity to bring his voice to the game.

Reports have emerged from that a new Spyro game is in development at former Activision studio Toys for Bob.
