Like A Dragon Battle Style Kiryu Figures Are Back Up For Pre-Order On Amazon

We're celebrating Like A Dragon and Yakuza here at TheGamer all week long via features about the series and interviews with people involved in its creation and development. We're also putting more Like A Dragon merch on your radar than usual to mark the occasion, and there's no better Yakuza merch on the market than a figure that depicts Kiryu Kazama ready and waiting for battle, shirt off with his iconic tattoo exposed for all to see.
The new Kiryu figure went up for pre-order on Amazon on Monday but sold out pretty fast. Amazon has now released a second wave of pre-orders and you can secure one for yourself through the link in the box below. Standing seven inches tall, the Kiryu figure is made of PVC and ABS, and it's going to cost you $71.99 if you want to own one.
That sounds like a lot for an action figure, but the detail on this Kiryu brings it closer to a statue you'd get with a game's collector's edition than a toy. The attention to detail that has gone into the Dragon of Dojima tattoo on Kiryu's back is fantastic, making the body art look exactly how it appears on Kiryu's back in the games. The detail in the pants and belt is just as impressive, a closer look showing just how much effort has gone into making this figure look just right.
DIG's Kazuma Kiryu battle style figure shows the Dragon of Dojima as he would look when he's ready for a big fight. No shirt means his dragon tattoo is exposed, and it has been recreated in incredible detail.
The figure comes with a stand to make sure your Kiryu figure doesn't keep falling over, and it's made by the same figure creators as the battle style Ichiban Kasuga. Also without his shirt, the Ichiban statue is the same height and has had the same level of detail applied to its tattoo and pants. If you have both, you can pop them side by side to make it look like they're about to take on the world together, or have them face each other as if they're about to throw down.
The only downside to buying a shirtless Kiryu is how long you'll have to wait to see it in the flesh, or maybe that should be in the plastic. The figures won't ship until January 29, 2024. On the one hand, that's a ten-month wait, on the other, there is more than enough side stuff in Infinite Wealth to keep you occupied for that long if you let it.
