Mods have been such a deep part of the Minecraft community on PC that some have even inspired features in the full game, like the recipe book.

A Pokemon fan has created a number of impressive fusion designs. Pokemon fusions have been a popular trend among fans, as molding two or more Pokemon together can create some very interesting designs. Fusions have had some sort of presence in the mainline Pokemon games sinceBlack and White, as the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram and Zekrom have the ability to fuse with Kyurem. These are the only Pokemon able to fuse officially, however, as every other fan fusion has been non-canon.

Nintendo has released a new update for its Nintendo Switch Online app. The app is Nintendo’s replacement for a chat function on the Switch family of consoles. Instead of having a headset attachment or integrating Discord like the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, Nintendo decided to create an app for smartphones that allows Nintendo Switch Online users to communicate.

A Fallout 4 player has created an enormous junk-themed town within the game. Fallout 4 has had a huge increase in players recently, thanks in part to the renewed interest from the Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime. Bungie is giving all players access to several Destiny 2 expansions for a limited time. This is meant to help players prepare for the new Final Shape expansion coming in June. The upcoming Destiny 2 expansion comes with a new subclass, new overhauls, a new enemy faction, and the conclusion of the ongoing narrative arc.

In an announcement made on May 7, Xbox stated that it is ending all development on Redfall. In the same memo, Xbox also announced the closure of Arkane Austin, the developer of the game. Redfall’s developer wasn’t the only studio shut down, as several others are also shutting their doors.

Fortnite is in the middle of a Greek mythology themed season, with Pandora's Box being part of the central focus. Near the end of Chapter 5 Season 1, a Titan’s Hand pulled the box out of the ground during a live event on March 2.

An unannounced Nintendo game has leaked under a codename called «Banquet.” This year is looking especially barren in terms of Nintendo game releases, so any rumors to show that more games are coming are particularly exciting to fans.

Two years later, JiDion's Twitch account has been restored after leading a hate raid against Pokimane. On January 12, 2022, users on Twitch were led from JiDion’s stream to bombard Pokimane’s chat with spam. Pokimane had to resort to ending her stream after her chat went completely out of her control. Pokimane and JiDion have since cleared things up between each other, yet JiDion's reputation with Twitch was unaffected.

Nintendo gamers on Wii U and 3DS have beaten a 14-year-old Halo 2 record by playing online after the scheduled shutdown date for the system’s servers. These Nintendofans surpassed the previous record set by Halo 2 fans, who continued playing for 25 days after the servers were scheduled to be shut down. Like the Nintendo fans today, the Halo fans found that they were able to play well beyond the shut-down date, as long as they kept playing.

Xbox and Marvel Animation have teamed up to create an X-Men 97 inspired Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series X console comes with a unique Xbox controller designed after Wolverine. X-Men 97 is an all-new series with 6 episodes currently on Disney Plus. The show continues the story of the original X-Men cartoon from the 90s with characters like Wolverine, Jubilee, and Magneto.

Fortnite is making some changes to how «confrontational» emotes are displayed to other players. While Fortnite does not currently allow players to speak directly to enemies, emotes have frequently been used as a taunt after eliminating an enemy player. There are some emotes like «Take the L» or «Laugh It Up» that can be seen as toxic to some fans of the series, which can ruin the enjoyment of the game for some players.

After The Weeknd and Lady Gaga's release, singer-songwriter Billie Eilish seems to be next up on stage for Fortnite Festival. Developed by Harmonix, the studio behind the Rock Band games, Fortnite Festival is a rhythm game in a similar vein to Harmonix's previous releases. Players either play in a group or solo, hitting notes on a track depending on which instrument they decide to play.

From players discovering new caves, illusory walls, and secret bosses, FromSoftware’s masterpiece is packed with things to find. Some secrets can’t be found by playing the game itself. Elden Ring has some hidden cut content buried deep within its files, which one YouTuber has been digging into.

Pokemon Sleep has announced a Flower Festival event for April. This event comes ahead of the Good Sleep Day event announced recently. The Flower Festival is the first of its kind, but there have been previous events in Pokemon Sleep like the Raikou Research that have been similar.
