Blizzard has published Cataclysm Classic launch notes, clarifying parts of the expansion launch which differ from original launch a decade ago. Of particular note is:

In the recent Cataclysm Classic Launch Notes, Blizzard has confirmed that the weekly cap for Valor has been raised to 1600. For reference, the weekly Valor cap in Cataclysm's original release was 1000, but due to the increased content cadence of Cataclysm Classic, the weekly Valor and Conquest caps will be raised by roughly 60%.

After today's Cataclysm Classic update, players have begun discovering a pet that was thought to only be available once players reached Archaeology level 525.

Blizzard has conducted several PvP Damage Reduction tests and players were curious if a solution was reached on final values. WoW Classic Senior Game Producer, Josh Greenfield has stated that the Damage Reduction Aura from the most recent Season of Discovery PvP Test will likely be the final values.

Blizzard has announced that they have fixed a bug causing certain boss abilities to do double damage. However, many abilities in both dungeons and raids were doing over 8 million damage and even if these were «double damage», these are still not survivable for any character.

Players locked in combat with the forces of Hell may be encountering a strange bug with a bug — or worm to be more precise. During Helltides, the large Hellworms that spew monsters from their maws may be leaving behind 'invisible walls' that players are unable to move through. This is due to their collision boxes not being removed after they disappear back underground.Blizzard is aware of these bugged bugs. As the invisible walls can affect all players, this can potentially create problems if a Hellworm happens to leave their collision box in a particularly unfortunate place.

These new Heirlooms also come with an experience bonus, with Cloaks increasing experience gained by 5%, and Helms by 10%. Blizzard has released a «Known Issues» list for Diablo 4 Season 4. With Mists of Pandaria Remix now live in all regions, a notification on the character select screen indicates 95 days remaining in the event, confirming the previously speculated end date of August 19th. Whether or not the Timeruning end date has any relation to The War Within Pre-Patch is still anyone's guess, though it would seem like a pretty natural transition for a mid to late summer release date, expecting The War Within pre-patch around the end of August.

Profession bags will be in high demand in The War Within — each new bag comes with a special effect, such as increasing reagent gain or decreasing cooldowns! Tailors will have a new bag full of tricks once they learn these new recipes, and every profession will want to obtain one of these new bags. Each is Unique-Equipped, so unfortunately you can't double up on effects, but you can equip two different profession bags at the same time — you won't have to choose which of your professions you find more important!

The latest round of hotfixes to hit the Cataclysm Classic servers are here, with a number of small bug fixes, including the end of the «forever green» Drain Life — with that being said, there are a couple gameplay changes to Mages and Shamans, with Ignite now correctly not being triggered by Living Bomb critical strikes and Flametongue Totem no longer stacking with other Spell Power buffs.

We've datamined a few more backpacks in this week's alpha build for The War Within! Similar to the Haversacks discovered last week, these new backpacks also appear Delve related, featuring excavation tools and unique light sources.
