Fired up my Xbox1 this week because, despite my PS3 being my new all
singing media player, it wouldn't play imported DVDs. There's life in
the old dog yet!

Sadly the xbox was one of those consoles I have never owned

To my malign, mine refused to play disc three of FLCL last night. I
think it must be a bad pressing. I ended up trying all sorts just to
play a DVD. Got DVD playback sort of working on Wii but then realised
it's only got stereo output! Eventually got tired and went to bed.

Plan is to retrieve the spare DVD player from the garage this
afternoon. Down with region locking!
