Default backup disks of XBox Games

How do you make a backup?
(I'm asking before I make coasters!)

Even if you spent the 30 seconds looking on Google for this information,
it's basically useless because you can't use backup discs on a 360 without
hacking it. But then, you can't ever use that 360 or the backup discs
online or else Microsoft will ban the console for life, and delete your
account.

I presume that the disks are not ISO images then.

How about letting the Xbox put the game info onto an xbox sandisk flash drive?

Oh, they're standard data DVD ISOs, but the 360 is designed to not execute
code loaded from a burned disc. To get around this you'll have to hack
the console - which then means you can no longer go online or have your
account deleted.

As for loading them onto a flash drive, that won't work either, again
unless you hack the 360.

The buzz I hear is that certain s/w will make an exact copy so that it cannot detect
a "burned" state. Maybe one has to use the right masters/blanks?

It's not the bits that are the problem - it's the disc itself.

The DVD drive can detect the difference between a DVD-Rom (store bought copy),
and DVD-+R/RW.
