I have a basic 4GB thumbdrive (USB 2.0) in mine serving as an alternative memory card (backing up the old 64MB memcard). It came up as "not fast enough" when I formatted it, but it has no problem with game saves, for the most part. The exception for me seems to be Tekken 6, which for some reason tends to save really slow when I try to use it. Finally just used the hard drive for that game. But for every other game I've used it with, speed wasn't an issue. |
