Currently have an xbox 360 pro - just died with ROD - 2nd time -

If we get a new S model 250GB,
I noticed on the store rack at BB, there is a USB transfer cable for hard
drives.

What exactly can I copy from the old drive ?
Where does it get saved onto the new system ?
