Lucas has been slow to release his movies on new formats -- the DVDs took forever to come out, and so will the Blu-rays. If 3D Blu-ray catches on (something I don't think is a sure thing, BTW), I wouldn't be surprised if a big honkin 3D remastering happened for the Star Wars films. But since 3D is a waste of time, IMO, that's one I *will* pass on. -- Hammer |
