RROD, new thread

I should receive the coffin this coming Tuesday. A clerk at Toys R Us told
me that I might not get back the same console (Elite) back and worse it
might not have HDMI anymore. Now that would really piss me off. Is true or
pure BS?

I just checked the power supply unit and it's 16.5A , 203W. Will I get a
less A and W power supply unit?

It's BS. If you send an Elite, you get an Elite back. It may be a refub, it
may be yours repaired, but it will be an Elite. Also per your other post,
you don't send the power brick in, just the console. Don't send the hard
drive either.

OK. thought so. When I talked to Xbox repair, the clerk said "they'll repair
your console and send it back soon" (Soon? Yeah, right). Overall the clerk
was very nice and informative, but I'm afraid it's just difficult to believe
anything 100 percent these days.
Yeah, I know not to send power brick, hard drive or any accessories. Just
wondering if I'll get another power brick with less A and W.
