In addition to this, both these gaming consoles also, come with a hard disk drive which enables users to store more games on the console. Storage medium becomes an important factor, due to online game purchasing capabilities of both console manufacturers. Also, more memory ensures that the saved game data does not become a hindrance while downloading games. PS3 vs Xbox 360 Price Comparison As the performance of both of these gaming consoles does match to a great extent, price can turn out to be a deciding factor, when it comes to PS3 vs Xbox 360. In case of the Xbox, there are various models that have different price tags. Based on your requirement, you can opt for models that have lower hard disk capacity, and are thus, consequently cheaper. The cheapest is the Xbox 360 Arcade version, priced at USD199.99, and does not feature a HDD. It has 512 MB of on-board memory, which can be used to save game data. The Xbox 360 Elite is a higher end model, which has two variants, priced at USD299.99 and USD399.99. The Elite priced at USD299.99, features a 120 GB HDD, and a single wireless controller, while the more expensive USD 399.99 version of Elite has two wireless controllers, in addition to a 250 GB HDD. Sony's PlayStation 3 is also, available in various models and in different price range. The basic model comes with a 120 GB hard drive and is priced approximately, at USD300. The higher end model has a 250 GB hard drive, and comes with various free games, depending on your geographical location. In the United States, this higher end model comes with Tekken 6 free, and is priced approximately, at USD400. Both models come with a blu-ray drive which can be used for multimedia purposes as well.
