I was thinking of a replay of the first game, I guess the Source version,
although there were annoying differences in gameplay between it and the
original, as I recall. Anyway, are there any higher-res texture pack
add-ons for HL1? I'm not looking to change the gameplay, just pretty it up
a bit. Thanks!

I would definitely recommend playing the original version of Half-Life.

Even though it won't improve the quality that much, especially compared to
recently released games.

I have replayed half-life many times and its still great, I have been
patiently waiting for the release of "Black Mesa" which has been in the
making for a long time but still does not have a release Date. It should be
the ultimate makeover of Half-Life 2 if it ever comes out. Google Black mesa
for various sites.
