Yeh..but if it was the case of two 8800Ultras GX2 type...then the $1000 single Ultra wouldn't be priced this high in the first case!

Everything and prices will turn out cheaper and faster!

But really...even ATi would admit this....Ati had no other single card solutions to beat the 8800GTX and Ultras...so they had to use 2 cards to take the crown....and also...the Ultra is pretty old now...king of the graphics cards for almost more then a year now...which is pretty damn impressive...and also yes the 3870X2 is better in most areas...but don't forget its a new and recently released card with the latest Technology....the Ultra which still comes close to the 3870X2 was designed with technology and design 1 year ago....so really.....you should comparing the 3870X2 with very soon-to-be released Nvidia Graphics cards!

lolz......yeh..same money and performance are the main things I care...but wait until Nvidia releases 9""" series cards...All the prices will drop like Hell...and you have my word on this!!!! We'll see soon how ATi and nvidia compete against each other!
