So some guy called Tim Schafer wants to make this new type of point and
click adventure game...? There's this other guy called Ron Gilbert who's involved too. They are probably just amateur wannabes with some crappy idea for a game that no publisher will buy! You know, sort of how Minecraft was a huge turkey... However, they have set up a Kickstarter project to try and fund this quaint little idea anyway. They've asked for some crazy amount of money, like $400,000 to make this happen and gave themselves only a month to raise it. Amazingly, in just 24 hours, they have not only hit their funding target, but they have shot to $1,000,000, and still have 33 days to raise more money. If you want to get in on the action, you can fund the project too at: http://www.tinyurl.com/doublekick But you probably all think the whole thing is a joke and will go nowhere. Hey, who would blame you, point & click adventures are RUBBISH! -- James Luff Gamertag / Twitter: Lufferov blog: http://lufferov.blogspot.com "There are 10 types of people in the world: Those that understand binary, and those that don't." |

Hey, who would blame you, point & click adventures are RUBBISH! I was reading about this last night. It was amazing pressing F5 on their site and watching the pledge value shoot up each time! I will be donating over the weekend, for sure. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |
