I can honestly say that I've never actually removed the disk from the package. Incoming (DC) - One of the launch titles on the Dreamcast, wasn't it? I recall a visually impressive but shallow shooter. Bizarrely, I have both the Japanese and American disks lying around. Ishido (Lynx) - Some sort of puzzle game? I own it, but I think mostly for the purpose of illustrating that game pricing parity of the era was extraordinarily unfair, as a deep RPG wasn't worth the same $30 that a five-minute-at-a-sitting puzzle game. Inuyasha (PSX) - One of those fighting games based on an anime licence that didn't end up having any sort of staying power in the marketplace. See also Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist. My memory of ownership is that I bought it for the woman of the house, who was exploring the idea of writing for a company that did game strategy guides. She was distracted by something shiny and put about fifteen minutes into the game. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (PSP) - It was out on every platform at the time, but it's the PSP version I've owned and not played much. I remember bearing the workmanlike first level and judging it to be an unremarkable Tomb Raider clone, which is ironic in a way. Upon consideration, Temple of Doom seems to have been the only decent use of the licence for a game. -KKC, sneaking in some PSP time at work. -- -- "Step 8: Make a list of all the persons I | kendrick have harmed, and file them alphabetically | @io-nyc.com for ease of reference." | - David Javerbaum, "The Last Testament" | |

Ishar (ST)
Beautiful looking RPG - never had the cash to buy it until it had been superceded. Il2 sturmovik (PC) I'm too much of a sucker for graphics and jet engines to go for this - Realism and propellors is a turn-off for me. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |

It's a great game, looks good and very atmospheric, but something isn't quite right for me. I think I would prefer it to be just a puzzler, i.e. work out how to exit the location with Yorda without the added tension and time limiting combat element. And the combat sux. Each time I've stopped playing is at a combat location. -- John Talbot XBL, PSN, Twitter, Everything : jochta Blog & Gaming Diary : http://www.buttonsofmymind.co.uk/ "Leading the fight..." |
