Defense Grid (360)

I never finished this the first time around, so I'm playing it again,
currently enjoying /destroying/ actionabbas in the leaderboards! Well,
actually, sneaking by by a few points, mostly

Annoying thing is, it retained all my progress so I can't start it again
from scratch. Still, fun.

Fable III (360)

Made a start. Bought some clothes. Belched.

That Salvatore adventure game thing.

Borderlands 2 sounds like it might be fun. I got a lot out of the first one.

So you've bought £200 worth of old tat and you don't actaully have time
to play any of it? Even if it's cheap it's not a bargain if you'll never
play it.

Yes I know but in my defence I am only buying games that I think are good,
excluding the kids games & the MS points which were purchased cheap from
RLLMUK

Total spend is only £78.21

02/01/2012 Gamecube Gameboy Player Gamecube 15.00 gospvg

21/01/2012 Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Xbox 360 10.00 gospvg
25/01/2012 Scramble with Friends iOS 0.69 gospvg

From the list above Halo Wars, Divinity 2 are possibly the only will I play
them purchases?
Dark Souls, Lego Potc & the Marvel UA games I will end up playing.

I'll try to restrain myself next month.

Gangs of London (PSP) - I can see why GTA fans were turned off, as the
focus is on portability and multiplayer action. There's really no sense of
a persistent city or an ongoing character, as those things have been
sacrificed for an (almost comical) attempt at geographic accuracy in the
London streets. Still, the missions seem fun enough and there's no need to
repeat them once the free-roaming sections are unlocked. However...

Ennui (RL) - It has struck, and hard. Too many complicated things keep me
from sitting and enjoying gaming. Many of these things are car related.

Car repair (RL) - Here I sit in the fast food restaurant and not at my
workplace, waiting for the tyre shop to open up. Thankfully I have
powerful VPN connections both to work and home, but it's still annoying.
At least that rattling was a puncture and not a failing differential, as I
had feared.

>Want

Not a new car (RL) - I've tentatively decided that I prefer my current
Subaru over any other car on the American market. If I could get my hands
on a little Citroen or one of the near-rally spec Fords I would, but at
the moment every new car offers me nothing. Tha includes the new Subarus,
which are heavier and slower and somehow uglier too. I'd rather spring for
fresh running gear than a whole new vehicle. Also, bizarrely my car still
appears to produce a ridiculous amount of torque even as the horsepower
measurement has dropped over the last ten years.

>Bin

Smooth jazz - This horrible elevator music isn't really suited to eggs
poured out of a giant cardboard box. Also, the Jackson 5's 'Never Can Say
Goodbye' should never be played on an alto saxophone. I'm picking a
different breakfast joint the next time I have a car issue.

>Expense

Balance forward - $308

I have had this most of last week, I look at my iOS device and see 50 turns
to play in various on-line games, look at the game shelf & see Skyrim but I
then turn to my Fringe Season 1 boxset & watch another episode.

Was hoping to play some Skyrim this weekend but too busy with RL

LOL! In fairness, I hope this is the beginning of a "Let's talk about"
PWB Season where we put the spotlight on each ugvm member. Who's next?

Apologies, but this gives me the opportunity to say: he has written two
of the best books known to Mankind -independently corroborated- but he
didn't put his full name to either because nobody in their right mind
would buy a book (fiction) written by someone called "Kevin".

He has overcome his addiction to Battlefield Bad Company 2.
He is currently addicted to Battlefield 3, but still feels sore about
being deliberately shot in the head by a team-mate who wanted his jeep.

Battlefield 3. Maybe. Possibly. Probably.
Some Hanging With Friends.

Trooperlooper, Toadusmus -and any ugvm members to play Battlefield 3 (at
all/ more often).

The will to play anything else on console other than Battlefield 3. It's
just too good I tells ya. Usually.

Fable III (360)
Which is equal parts ACEBEST (the characters, the graphics) and UTTERSHITE
(the bugs, the quests). Just done the quest to save the guy from Reaver,
and the Wheel of Misfortune bit was awful. Joy! MORE hollow men. Sigh.

Freakyforms (3DS)
Far too much fun to be had creating Pootruck, who is a truck that carries
poo. And says "Poooo!". So very childish.

Cycletron 4000 (RL)
Friday was my first day not out on the bike due to the puncture and
subsequent popping of the innertube. I did, however, do 25 minutes on the
exercise bike. For this I am counting Friday as a day I *did* do cycling,
but I'm not counting the miles towards my total.

Went out and did 10.5 miles on Saturday, and 12.3 on Sunday. This means
I've done 193.5 miles so far this month, with two days left to hit 200.
Bloody amazed with myself. Was convinced I'd struggle to do 200 in a
*year*, let alone a month.

Batrim.

Sonic Generations (360)
Arrived this morning. Dear god.

Â65 miles so far!

Surprisingly, despite being my weekend off work, I haven't touched
Skyrim over the weekend. I decided to replay Mass Effect 2 with my
female Paragon from ME1.
Thankfully, as a lot of money and elements are imported from ME1 as
well, I've been able to keep the tedious scanning down to a minimum and
get on with the story.

The usual iOS games. There are now achievements in Hanging with Friends,
many of which I would have unlocked by now if they'd been in there from
the start...:/
I've also found I'm not as good as I thought I would be in Scramble with
Friends...everyone else is beating me...hmm...more practice methinks...
