My friend had a £25 HDMI lead foisted on him when he got his nice
Samsung TV from Comet/Currys, whichever. I had a right go at him, but he
wouldn't take it back, I just don't understand people sometimes.

Other than that though, it's pretty cool box. Add that to the router I
bought that works with a USB drive as NAS, it makes me wonder why the
holy fuck I spend what seemed like a reasonable £240 on a populated
Synology DS211 given I can now do everything I wanted to do. Yeah, it
does more, but I'll probably never use the functionality. Straight back
on ebay it is then, fuck.

Quite a few USB peripherals I've bought have come without USB cables too,
though that happens less these days.
