I used to use oil last time I used anything on a chain. 3-in-1. Wet lube, apart from sounding awful sounds like an excuse to charge more for the same result. Maybe it's less runny? On cranks I generally use my harrumph turn-away look of disdain in lieu of a mallet. -Kevin. |

I was told wet lube was for wet conditions, and dry lube for dry conditions, rather then the lube itself being "wet" or "dry", as they're both wet. The blurb on the lube I bought suggests this anyway. deKay -- Lofi Gaming - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk Gaming Diary - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/diary Blog - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/blog My computer runs at 3.5MHz and I'm proud of that |

Tonight's ride is going to be a *joy*, what with the snow. >> Only (only?) 300-ish. They're still fine, but I'm thinking I want better >> road tyres. Problem here is it's either road (of varying quality) or dirt tracks "fixed" with debris. You know when the farmers get muddy sinkholes and just chuck rubble and rubbish and used heroin needles in them? That. deKay -- Lofi Gaming - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk Gaming Diary - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/diary Blog - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/blog My computer runs at 3.5MHz and I'm proud of that |
