So this weekend I are mousetly be playin':
Soupy Mario 3D Land (3DS) On World 8, so almost completed the pre-game section. It is AWESOMEBEST. Freakyforms (3DS) Got back into this a bit this week. It's brainless but fun. Gloldeneye 007 Craig Doyle Edition Fighter Pro X Alpha (Wii) Started this t'other night. Really enjoying it for some reason. It's actually pretty good. Well worth the fiver it was, anyway. Loved the proper James Bond film intro too - even with Nicole Shirtswinger singing the theme. Cycletron 4000 (RL) I have LEGS OF IRON now, three weeks in. Can't wait for the summer so I can impress the laydees in my shorts. Mmm, laydees in my shorts. Aside from those, dunno what else. Tempted to buy Ponce of Persia on the 3DS VC. deKay -- Lofi Gaming - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk Gaming Diary - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/diary Blog - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/blog My computer runs at 3.5MHz and I'm proud of that |

So i'll probably give that a quick go if I get a chance. Tried it last night, made a sim of me and Kate, put them in a flat and Kate promptly burnt it to the ground within 5 minutes. No comment on how true to life that is... ![]() T. |

Downloaded some mods form skyrim.nexus to make the game even better. More blood, better textures, more blood, nicer looking females, more blood. Sticking with Japanese cars as much as possible (as I always do), but the game has a stupid tendancy to award me stupid muscle stupid american stupid cars. Hate those. Might do some retro gaming pixel art decal designs. That's it probably. Might start Alan Wake if I feel like it. |

Friends visiting this weekend so probably not much.
Maybe some Lips because I know they have prior for that. Hopefully some Kane and Lynch 2 online co-op tonight. Planning to start playing Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 online co-op with two buddies next week. It was scheduled for last night but scuppered by a planned PSN outage. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |

I'll spare you ten pages on the protestant work ethic and the decline of American industry keeping me busier than I should be. I will say that after fighting the last Tekken 6 boss in the Arena zone, I've concluded that Guilty Gear is bizarrely more plausible than the narrative of Tekken. Speaking of which... Guilty Gear Judgment (PSP) - How did I not know that the whole of Guilty Gear X2 #Reload was included on the UMD? That's a *portable* crossdressing teenage boy raised by nuns fighting a witch in red leather with a petrified wood guitar. As the kids say, I'm all over that. 50 Cent Bulletproof: G Unit Edition (PSP) - Hee. It's Gangsta Gauntlet. The reviews are wrong, in that the portable version is not just the old game with a new overhead camera. I may pull out the Xbox disk just to compare. Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain (DS) - Played a little bit of this last night. This game wants to be Ultima Underworld so badly, that it almost literally maps keyboard controls to the D-pad and the touch screen, as if someone took a WASD overlay and shrunk it down to fit on the DS. The only reason I'm at all interested is because the original two-page prologue to the book has been expanded into a quest-giving town area all by itself, which sort of subverts the book's premise that you have to commit to your adventure in a way that forces you not to come out of the dungeon until you're done. If it's a more traditional western RPG with powering up and restocking consumables, that might not work for me. -KKC, who also has a couple of crappy old RPG ports to try. -- -- "Step 8: Make a list of all the persons I | kendrick have harmed, and file them alphabetically | @io-nyc.com for ease of reference." | - David Javerbaum, "The Last Testament"

You'd think such a long-running franchise</vocabulary_trope> would have inspired at least a couple of imitators by now. I suspect it might be like Pokemon, where another developer will make their own proxy-combat-collecting-RPG but doesn't have the marketing army or brand recognition that Nintendo has. -KKC, trying to remember if he owns any Digimon games -- -- "Step 8: Make a list of all the persons I | kendrick have harmed, and file them alphabetically | @io-nyc.com for ease of reference." | - David Javerbaum, "The Last Testament"
