thinking what Else have NT made? They are currently working on DmC (reboot) but has anyone played Heavenly Sword? -- gospvg [..getting old and still playing video games..] http://www.gospvg.com |

I seem to recall that the Zomoniac (tm/C) had a high opinion of Heavenly Sword. GameFAQs tells me that Ninja Theory used to have a different name and was responsible for making Kung Fu Chaos on the original Xbox. -KKC, fighting a SQL server with dual-wield daggers. -- -- "Step 8: Make a list of all the persons I | kendrick have harmed, and file them alphabetically | @io-nyc.com for ease of reference." | - David Javerbaum, "The Last Testament" | |

Not a glowing report from you so i'll wait on the demo unless it gets a more positive response. -- gospvg [..getting old and still playing video games..] http://www.gospvg.com |

It's short (I got through it in about 2 days) and it's an obvious God Of War clone but with 2 (scantily clad) female heroines, but this is no bad thing. I button mashed most of my way through it like I usually do in such games but there is some deeper gameplay in there if you want it, such as using different stances. The archery sections with Kai are some of the best bits of gaming I've ever played as time slows down when controlling the arrows with the joypad and you can shoot guards in the arse or indeed anywhere! I'd snap it up seeing as it's quite cheap nowadays. -- Words with Friends/Chess with Friends/Naked War username: HaggisHunter Using an Intel i7 PC with a Zotac GTX580 gfx card, ASUS Xonar D2X soundcard, 30" Samsung monitor, 6GB of memory and Windows 7 64-bit |

Forgot to say that the main bad guy in it, King Bohan, really plays his part well. As I said, there are different stances to use - light, strong and ranged. The enemies have the same stances and you can change yours to block and counter appropriately. Some of the counters are really funny and quite gruesome if you time them right... ![]() I hardly used most of the available moves in the game. A really nice looking game too.

I didn't like the Heavenly Sword demo, but I think Zo had overhyped the facial animation to me so I was immediately disappointed with that. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |
