So, most of boy #2's christmas presents are for the 360, including a wireless
adapter. His old 360 RROD'd last night :-/ So, frantically scrabbling for pennies for a new 360. All of which have wireless built in. The whole christmas thing - complete farce. I got a 2nd hand laptop for my niece last christmas and built it up with Puppy linux. Went to loads of trouble with puppy-themes and skins (she loves animals) and the PSU failed on boxing day! -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |

Only trouble there is just risk getting a banned console or dodgy drive - particularly as a lot of them will be $aLot of years old. J -- John Dow <jmd@nelefa.org.invalid> ... It's not the end of the world - just means I have to raid my emergency fun. Course, cos Matts is getting a big feck off console, I really need to get Harmony something extra as well. She's been eyeing up a 3DS with nintendogs & cats, so it'll be an expensive lunchtime trip I think. At least I can stick the wireless adaptor on amazon for 30 quid (unless someone here wants one) and claw a little bit back. J -- John Dow <jmd@nelefa.org.invalid> ... It's an original model xbox - I'm frankly amazed it's lasted as long as it has. Just going to get a 4Gb one for now - I can get him an HDD after christmas. The joys of gamer children!
