Out of curiosity, for what games? I found that N64 units multiply for some
reason. I started off with one and somehow I ended up with four.

-KKC, who may come home with a fifth with the funky Pokemon branding.

I like how the word 'wife' in your mind requires you to use an adjectival
modifier, as if you have to distinguish among multiple wives

The bulk of the good first-party games are available on the VC, but in
your place I'd grab copies of Hybrid Heaven and Resident Evil 2. The
former is an adventure/fighting hybrid (ha!) that's unlike anything else
I've played, but that might not click with some. The other is just
interesting to have just to see how Nintendo got around the lack of CD
storage for it.

-KKC, who is almost done with his work week from hell.

I keep forgetting that people like to play games, whereas I amass games in
a gigantic library (a paixniditeque, as it were) for purposes of archival
and academic comparison.

There's always the option of overclocking the N64, which is one of those
things men do to prove their manliness.

I've never liked the upscaling functions of modern LCD and plasma TVs,
because pixel fidelity is so important for the classic game systems I
love. But I haven't seen what that would do for N64 output, and I imagine
it might turn out to be a net gain rather than a nostalgia-destroying
tweak.

-KKC, who took fifteen minutes researching Greek word roots for this post.

The N64 is the most blurtastic console ever and the controller is shit.
Some good games available for it though, most of which are on the VC.

I've just opened up the box and found one first party controller (with
lots of controller thumb jam in the grooves) and one third party one.

The carts are all Fifa (n), Baseball (n) and the like.

I've had 2000 VC points stored for the last year. It would be a shame
to spend them now.

I don't have the guts to play Resi 2, even in blur-o-vision!
