I'd assume the worst, and that'll be the case for at least the next month. Sorry. Bit annoying, because undoubtedly no bugger will be playing it by the time I'm back and I've only got a handful of gamerscore on it. I hate that. -- [ste] |

Do let us know how it goes. MS appear to have been playing the 'it's nothing to do with us, but we are being nice' game over the issue. Gus. -- GT: GusTavToo / PSN: GusWho - Sent from a micro iPad |

John, Tim should we break for Christmas now and try again in the New Year? Carl. |

Nah, I'll still be playing for a while, since there will invariably be a couple of weeks when I'm overseas with work and so will get behind. I hope the account gets sorted out quickly though. This whole FIFA micropayment thing is a huge cock-up by EA, and it's made worse by the fact there's a lot they could do to fight it. Not least getting eBay to ban the sales of the points. Tim (tm) |

Bad news dude, everytime I have heard of this being sorted, your account is locked out for 3 weeks. T. |

I hadn't realise this was prolific enough that there were realistic odds know someone who got stung. I have a credit card on my XBL account and I've tied it to EA. My EA password is.. not as strong as it could be! -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |

Obviously the circles we are in make it more likely, but you are the 4th person I know who has had this happen. I don't have a credit card on my Live account, so it shouldn't be too bad if it happens to me, but the 3 weeks it takes to get unlocked is annoying. Just my luck it will happen over xmas! IIRC, if you have a credit card on your live account, you can't delete it until your gold runs out, which is just great... T. |
