Default Groo Weekend Gaming

After today, I'm on holiday for just over two weeks. AWESOME.

Less awesome is me today after last night's Christmas party. Groo.

Anyhoo! I will play:

Sonic Generations (3DS)
Which isn't terrible, but feels shit compared to:

Sonic CD (360)
Which is utterly fantastic, even though it doesn't have Toot Toot Sonic
Warrior due to licencing issues. Boo!

Also, I'll be playing:

Super Monkey Ball 3D (3DS)
Which isn't actually that bad. Just really, really easy.

Pullblox (3DS)
I've now got about 50 "home made" levels from rllmuk peoples as well as
about 140 remaining built-in levels. It's the game that just keeps giving!
It's also the 3DS game with the highest Metacritic score now too - above
Zelda even.

Zen Pinball (3DS)
Of course.

LOTS OF FREE GAMES! (3DS)
All the free GBA games are up NOW!!

In work next week but after that I'm on holiday for 2 weeks

> Less awesome is me today after last night's Christmas party. Groo.

It's mine this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Anyway this weekend I expect to be playing

Star Wars: The Old Republic (PC)

I rolled a bounty hunter on Luka Sene server with a Sith Empire guild that
used to be in my old DAOC guild's alliance. Because I like to keep my
options open I'll be joining up with my LOTRO guild on their server who
have gone Republic.

Played it in beta but didn't touch Sith Empire so the quests up to level
13 will be newer for me than the ones for Republic.

Skyrim (PC)

Killed my first mammoth last night while waiting in queue for SWTOR
server. Spent most of the session, hiding from giants. Need to level up a
bit more first before I attempt one.

A shedload of GBA games given to "Ambassadors" (3DS)

Will download them this weekend but how much I play will depend on how
much time is spent on the couch instead of at my PC.

Skyrim (360) - I sense that I'm probably done until the first expansion. I
don't care much for any of the Daedric quests, and resolving the civil war
storyline simply doesn't appeal to me. Also, I'm disappointed that the new
1.3 patch doesn't seem to fix the bug where some word walls don't bestow
new shout powers as intended. I may also be fool enough to start a new
character, if I don't get too involved in...

Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce (PS3) - Started this last night, and it's
mostly the same game as it was on the PSP. All the controls are mapped to
different buttons, which is confusing but is something I'll learn to live
with. I was worried that I didn't have access to the DLC (since Sony has
been culling their library) but it turns out that was a problem only on
the 360, where all the Strikeforce content was time-limited for some
reason.

Endless Ocean (Wii) - Why can't I ever remember the proper title of that
game series? I could probably use something relaxing and brainless after
the week I've had.

-KKC, effecting car maintenance early in the morning.

Not Saints Row The Third! Because I'm done with it. It was great fun
whilst it lasted.

Vanquish (360)
Maybe. Had it from LoveFilm for a couple of weeks, it's sitting on my
coffee table untouched. Now I'm done with SR I should give it a go.

Halo: CEA (360)
Another game criminally overlooked because of SR addiction.

Mario Kart 7 (3DS)
More 100c GPs, methinks.

Maybe other stuff. Who knows?

Mainly due to the easiness, rather than the number of levels though, by my
calculations.

I will be playing virtually nothing as I have to do Christmas shopping and
getting ready for skiing shopping this weekend, and on sunday I have to appear
in court to defend myself against the charges of assault/manslaughter/murder
that will doubtless be brought against me following on from spending the
saturday before Christmas in Cambridge trying to shop.
