Default Borderland n00bs

So Ste, Jon and Tim are we on for tomorrow?

Shall we aim for 8:15 or are you back at football Ste?

Tim, did you manage to catch up?

Oh do many questions!

Carl.

Yep, killed Nine Toes and am level 4 or 5. Have a big shotgun thing and
others, but have no more slots to pick up new weapons.

I will try for quarter past but that relies on me leaving work on time ...
I shall be on as soon as possible!

My wife has telephoned to say that she and little one are going to be late.

This means I may not be on for 8 will do my best to be on as soon as I can.

On the upside I got to play a bit (a little bit) of Skyrim.

We got a fair bit in terms of experience if nothing else.

I went back into my single-player game and turned in the two outstanding
missions. So now I just have the Bone Head one in my to-do list. No idea
about the scooter thing.

So hopefully next week we'll not suffer from game idiocy.

It's a shame we can't all rally round to kill Stefcha during a duel.

This week we have learned:

If you stand next to a dying comrade and press x you heal them. If you're
Ste you also shoot them in the face. Useful that.

That no one is going to beat Tim's Berserker in a dual because he is always
going to corner you and beat you to a pulp.

That I shouldn't be trusted with explosives. I'm quite capable of blowing
myself up with no enemies present.

Good game last night despite the connection problems.

See you next Tursday, Christmas and social stuff permitting.

Carl.

It was late in the game before I realised how expensive dying was.
Like, 30,000 credits expensive later on.
You also get XP for healing teammates.

I didn't work out how to dual until after the final boss!

Speaking of which - I have my Daughter's christmas concert on Tuesday. It
will be finished by eight, I imagine, so I'll still make it - I'll just be
a little late.

It really is very annoying, the way the quests seem to randomly become
ineligable.

This.

You clearly weren't playing with Tim and Ste then. We had loads of practice
;-)
