Announced today there is new Duke Nukem single player content arriving
from Gearbox that will be released in 3 days time.* Also got Deus Ex HR for PC (Limited edition, which ever one that is.) Killing Joke and Dark Night Returns graphic novels, should get me in the mood to start Arkham Asylum. (Assume I should read KJ first then DK?) And other assorted non-game stuff like Rec 2 DVD and a new coat an' ting. * May be 12 years. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |

I wouldn't worry about order to read DKR and KJ, they are set in vastly different continuities although ad you know DKR is older Batman. Carl. |

Dark Knight and Killing Joke are different worlds. I haven't read either in 20 years or so, but time was I knew them backwards. Nowadays Batman is soo passé. ![]() Dark Knight though is particularly icomic reading everyone should read at least once in their lifetime. Like The Sandman. -Kevin. |

I did not know DKR was older batman. I know almost zero about them. Sounds like DKR should be first if it is older? Or do you mean Batman himself is older in DKR and is younger in KJ? Or shall I toss a coin? -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters. |

It's also more like a Novel. The Killing Joke is a short story. They're different Batman Vs Joker tales (DKR being more than just that). They have a different tone, different take on the Batman world. They're unconnected. One doesn't know anything about the other. They have no correlation other than they feature different interpretations of some of the same characters. -Kevin. |

I'd argue that KJ is more than that too. So to follow your analogy DKR is No Country for Old Men and KJ is Turn of the Screw. Personally DKR feels very dated while KJ us still as fresh as it always was. I'll shut up and let you read them both for yourself. Carl. |
