Following an invite I just noticed, I signed up to playfire.com (seems
to monitor cross-platform gaming and link/compare with friends -for whatever reason). Anyway, after doing so I see a few messages _to_ playfire asking "how do I delete my account from playfire -it's slowing down my getting onto xboxlive every time!" ....So does it slow things down? Have I joined a kind of virus cult social network that I can't get off? Does anyone here actually use it for anything worthwhile? It looks like it could maybe be handy enough to see what games friends have on different platforms, but... is it? -Kevin. |

I use raptr (as do a few others on here) for what seems to be the same thing, it's had no adverse effect on anything. -- Zo |

Although it may be worth while comparing raptr's facebook whoring with the new stuff in the dash. Wouldn't do to spam social media sites with duplicate CHEEVO GET! messages.. And speaking of which - it was talking about the ability to post video to facebook. Is this 'share video that has appears in the dash' or the much more wishful-thinking 'share video you've recorded in game'? J -- John Dow <jmd@nelefa.org.invalid> ... Troolerlooper sent me a spam about this yesterday on Live. Is it legit, or another Raptr-style Xbox Live details harvester? deKay -- Lofi Gaming - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk Gaming Diary - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/diary Blog - http://lofi-gaming.org.uk/blog My computer runs at 3.5MHz and I'm proud of that |

Apologies all. I got an invite from someone on my friends list and signed up to see what it was all about, didn't realise it would do a group spam! ![]() T. |
